Results of a national survey of support to adult care homes in England: A specialist palliative care provider perspective.

This survey of organisations providing specialist palliative care services to care homes highlights the good work they do and identifies the key challenges they face. The report, commissioned by Public Health England, undertaken by the Marie Curie Research Centre at Cardiff University, with input from the National Council for Palliative Care and Hospice UK, examines the role of specialist palliative care in providing support to care homes in England.


New ambitions raise the bar for end of life care

National framework for action urges local leadership to be at forefront of improvement in end of life care.

The National Palliative and End of Life Care Partnership, made up of statutory bodies including NHS England, the Association of Adult Social Services, charities and groups representing patients and professionals has developed a framework for action in making palliative and end of life care a priority at local level.
